Drilling in hard, compact mataríals
(concrete,
hard
marble, etc.)
Applies only to hammer tools.
Befare the desíred hola is made,
dríll a smaller hale with tha hammer
functíon off. Dríll the proper hale
with the hammer function on. Use
hammer sintered carbide dríll bits in
good conditions.
6. Drilling in glaze, soft bricks,
plaster. etc.
Use hammer drill bits. Do not turn the
hammer function on (if applicable).
During drilling press the tool hard
with constant force.
Remove the dríll bit from the hole
beíng drílled from time to time, in
arder to remove dust and waste.
7. Using the Drill as a
Screw-driver
Before using the machine check
whether the screw-bit is inserted
correctly.
Avoid
screws, otherwise the screw head
may be damaged or stripping of the
threads may occur. Use screwdriver
bits that are not overly worn.
8. Screw Insertion
Set the direction of rotation of the
drill to the clockwise direction. Insert
the screw-bit into the slot in the
head of the screw. Hold the screw
bit perpendicular to the head of the
screw, otherwise the screw or the
brícks,
stone.
over-tightening
screw head may be damaged. Press
the screw bit against the screw with
a constant pressure while driving in
the screw.
When the screw is completely
screwed in, hold the machine firmly
and release the On/Off trigger,
otherwise the screw or the screw
head may be damaged. If the On/Off
trigger is not released immediately a
high torque could also damage the
drill bit or the drill.
9. Screw Removal
Set the direction of rotation of the
drill to the anticlockwise direction.
Insert the screw-bit into the slot
in the head of the screw. Hold the
screw-bit perpendicular to the head
of the screw, otherwise the screw or
the screw head may be damaged.
Press the screw bit against the
screw with a constant pressure
while removing the screw.
MAINTENANCE
Care and cleaning
Keep the ventilation openings clear
and clean the product regularly.
Clean the housing only with a damp
cloth-do not uses any solvents! Dry
thoroughly afterwards.
Caution!
If something unusual occurs during
use, switch off the supply and
disconnect the plug. Inspect and
