Fully assemble the appliance prior to use.
Disconnect tools. Unplug the appliance when not in use,
before servicing, or when changing attachments.
Do not leave appliance when plugged in. Never leave
appliance running unattended. Turn the power off.
Do not submerge. Moisten and condition surfaces prior
to use.
To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock due to internal
component damage use only cleaning solutions that
are recommended by the manufacturer for your model.
Cleaning solutions that may be suitable for one appliance
may create a risk of fire and/or electric shock when used
on another appliance.
Use only HART cleaning products intended for use with
this machine. See the Cleaning Fluid section of this
manual.
Do not allow children to operate product or play with
product as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used
by or near children.
Use this appliance ONLY for its intended use as described
in this manual. Use only the attachments recommended
in this manual.
Inspect tool cords periodically. If damaged, have repaired
by a qualified service technician at an authorized service
facility. The conductor with insulation having an outer
surface that is green with or without yellow stripes is the
equipment-grounding conductor. If repair or replacement
of the electric cord or plug is necessary, do not connect
the equipment-grounding conductor to a live terminal.
Repair or replace a damaged or worn cord immediately.
Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a
door on cord, or pull cord around sharp edges or corners.
Do not run appliance over cord. Keep cord away from
heated surfaces. Do not abuse cord. Never yank cord to
disconnect from receptacle. Keep cord from heat, oil, and
sharp edges.
To reduce the risk of electrocution, keep all connections
dry and off the ground. Do not touch the plug with wet
hands.
Do not put any objects in ventilation openings. Do not use
with any opening blocked. Keep openings free of dust,
lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air flow.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry.
Contain long hair. Keep your hair, loose clothing, fingers,
and all parts of the body and clothing, away from openings
and moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry, or long hair can
be caught in internal moving parts.
Avoid accidental starting. Be sure switch is off when
plugging in any tool.
Turn off all controls before unplugging.
Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids,
such as gasoline, or use in areas where they may be
present
NEVER pick up materials that are burning or smoking,
such as hot coals, cigarette butts, matches, burning or
smoking ashes, etc.
Do not use without filters and tanks in place.
Do not clean over floor electrical outlets.
To reduce the risk of tripping secure the hose using the
hose clips and wrap the power cord around the retainer
when the appliance is not in use.
Avoid picking up hard, sharp objects with this product,
as they may cause damage.
Store appropriately indoors in a dry place. Do not expose
machine to freezing temperatures.
When using detergents or other cleaning solutions, the
cleaning area must be well ventilated and away from
sparks or flames.
To help prevent matting and resoiling, avoid contact with
carpets until they are dry. Keep bystanders, children, and
pets away from carpets until they are completely dry.
Clean and empty tanks after each use.
Do not use this appliance on hard floors. Using this
product on hard floors may scratch or damage your
floor.
Do not use this appliance to clean or groom animals.
After cleaning is complete, water may drip from the
appliance. To avoid damaging the cleaning surface and
prevent potential slip hazards, place a towel or absorbent
material under the appliance when it is not in use and/or
remove the appliance from the cleaning surface.
Ground all tools. If tool is equipped with three-prong plug,
it should be plugged into a three-hole electrical receptacle.
Do not modify the plug provided. If it will not fit the outlet,
have the proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
Connect to a properly grounded outlet only. See
