Carefully read these instructions before using the appliance, and keep them safely for future
consultation.
The dehumidifier DHUM-10 PCR complies with the IEC 60335-1 and IEC 60335-2-40 norms.
It is recommended that you check and test the appliance on unpacking, as any defects are
covered by the S&P guarantee.
SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
- Ensure that the voltage and power of the mains supply coincide with those marked on
the characteristics plate of the appliance.
This plate is situated on the rear of the appliance.
- If the appliance is to used in a fixed installation, it should be installed by
personnel and in accordance with the national regulations covering electrical installations.
- If the mains cable is damaged, it should be substituted by the S&P after sales service or by
suitably qualified personnel, in order to avoid any possible danger.
- IMPORTANT: Both the front and rear of the appliance should have sufficient free space to
allow an adequate flow of air around the unit.
- The dehumidifier must not be used near baths, showers or swimming pools.
- This appliance is designed for domestic dehumidification. It should not be put to any other use.
- Any manipulation or alterations that modify the normal working characteristics of the appliance
represent a potential danger.
- Do not position the unit near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
- Before transporting the appliance, disconnect it from the mains and remove any condensed
water from the deposit.
- Always disconnect the appliance from the mains if not being used, before transport or before
cleaning.
- Never insert any object into the interior of the dehumidifier.
