• a battery whose capacity varies depending on the version, from a minimum of 1.9Ah for AS02/S to a maximum of
17Ah for AS15.
• an electronic board (PC21) for controlling the status of the power supply group, which can monitor battery charge
level, protect electronics from inversion of battery polarity and signal any power supply failure condition.
• for easy connection of an expansion board to the MP200 system (EP200 /4Z , EP200/8Z), the standard PC21 fits
a "flat cable" type quick coupling where the failure signals (lack of power, fuse failure, battery low), CPS supply
group control signal and 12V- power supply itself all transit.
The information regarding unit malfunctions is available locally and is displayed as spontaneous messages on
all KP200 keyboards connected to the system.
The display shows a message notification that asks the reader to check its contents.
Note: positive supply for the serial line on EP200 expansion boards installed in the supply groups should al
ways and only be drawn from the PC21 board (never from the central + serial line).
INSTALLATION
The installation involves:
connect anti-opening and anti-removal micro-switches as indicated in the relevant drawings.
installation of a suitable electric network sectioning device (bipolar, differential or other type of switch).
any input devices installed outside of the controlled area should be in special containers fitted with anti-opening
and/or anti-removal proofing.
Remember that the installation of security system is regulated and reserved only to staff who have qualifications
required by law, which includes obeying accident prevention regulations. Furthermore 230V~ network input termi-
nals connected to the PS34 terminal board may not be soldered. Remember that cases for recommended batter-
ies must have V0 inflammability class or over.
