The graphics in this manual are schematic representations and may not exactly match the
product.
-
To make the most out of the freezer in terms of energy, place all the shelves and drawers
in their original position, that is, as shown in figure 1.

2. BEFORE USE

-
This freezer includes a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Take the freezer
out of its box. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place,
this will help you prevent product damage when transporting it in the future. In case
the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled
accordingly.
-
Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any
piece missing or not in good condition, immediately contact the Technical Support Service
of Cecotec.

3. INSTALLATION

Preparing for use
The location you choose for the freezer must be properly ventilated and far from heat sources.
Do not place the freezer near heat sources, like a hob, and avoid direct sunlight to ensure the
cooling effect and save on energy consumption. It is not recommended to place the freezer in a
wet place, as it may rust and cause electrical leakage. The result of dividing the total space of
the room in which the freezer is installed by the amount of refrigerant load in the freezer must
not be less than 8 g/m
.

During operation, the freezer releases heat into the environment. Therefore, you should leave
at least 30 mm of free space at the top, more than 100 mm on both sides, and more than 50
mm at the rear of the freezer.

Stable surface
-
Place the freezer on a solid, flat surface to keep it stable, otherwise vibrations and noises
will occur.
-
Ensure a ventilation free of obstacles around the freezer.

4. OPERATION

On
1.
Clean the interior of the freezer with lukewarm water and detergent. Then, dry it. Wait at
least 4 hours before plugging the freezer back to a power supply.
2.
Place the thermostat in position 2 and connect the plug to the power supply. The
compressor will then start operating.
3.
Once the internal temperature decreases, you'll be able to store food inside the freezer.
-
If the freezer is installed in a wet place, you must check the earthed cord and the leakage
breaker are working normally. If vibration noises occur due to contact of the freezer with
the wall or if the wall turns black due to air convection around the compressor, remove the
freezer from the wall.
-
The installation of the freezer may cause interference in mobile phones, landline phones,
radio receivers, or televisions near the refrigerator, so in this case, keep the freezer as far
away from these objects as possible.
Temperature setting Fig. 3
Use the thermostat to adjust the freezer's temperature: position 1 corresponds to the hottest-
temperature setting, while position 4 is the coldest-temperature setting. We reccomend
position 2 for normal use.
