Rothoblaas SHIELD
Homologated as component for horizontal life line together
with the PATROL anchor line (see specific manual) along AS/
NZS 1891.2:2001 standards for inclined and flat corrugated
sheet or similar metal surfaces for 2 persons wearing PPE as per
AS/NZS 1891.1:2020 and the following fall protection systems as per
AS/NZS 1891:
• 1891.1 Part 1: Personal equipment for work at height;
Manufacturing requirements for full body combination and lower
body harnesses
• 1891.2 Part 2: Horizontal lifeline and rail systems
• 1891.2 Supp1 Supplement 1: Horizontal lifeline and rail systems
Prescribed configurations for horizontal lifelines
• 1891.3 Part 3: Manufacturing requirements for fall-arrest devices
• 1891.5 Pole straps and lanyards
Homologated as component for fixed anchor point together with
the AOS01 anchor eyebolt (see specific manual) along AS/NZS
5532:2013 standards for inclined and flat corrugated sheet or
similar surfaces for 1 person wearing as per AS/NZS 1891.1:2020
and the following fall protection systems as per AS/NZS 1891:
• 1891.1 Part 1: Personal equipment for work at height;

REGULATIONS
The manufacturer declares, that the product described hereafter
SHIELD is in conformity with the standards AS/NZS 5532:2013,
AS/NZS 1891.2:2001, AS/NZS 1891.4:2009. Tested by Rotho
Blaas srl, Via dell' A dige N. 2/1 - I-39040, Cortaccia (Test report
TR2019007).
Rothoblaas SHIELD is an anchor device for inclined and flat
corrugated sheet or similar metal surfaces.
The device has been tested at 360° (as illustrated below) on all
related substrates.
FUNCTION
Rothoblaas SHIELD is a component of an anchor device designed to
be installed on a statically tested substrate (e.g.: bearing structure
of roof) and is used as an anchor device for personal protective
equipment.
MATERIAL
Rothoblaas SHIELD is made of 1.4301 / AISI 304 stainless steel.
