5.5. VERTICAL STEAMING
Vertical steaming is great for quick touch-ups and removing creases from shirts,
blouses, trousers or other hanging garments.
1.
Hang the garment in a safe area, away from walls or furniture.
2.
Follow the instructions in the "HORIZONTAL STEAM IRONING" section.
3.
When the heating-up indicator light (1) goes off, hold the iron vertically about
10 – 20 cm away from delicate garments and press the Steam trigger (10).
You can hold the iron closer on fabrics that can be steamed ironed at higher
temperatures.
WARNING - RISK OF BURNS!
■
Do not touch the soleplate until it has cooled down. Always allow the iron to cool
down completely on the thermal insulated platform (11).
■
To prevent scalding, do not press the Steam trigger (10) when the iron is placed
on the Steam station base (5).
■
Never steam while wearing the garment.
■
Never direct the steam towards people or pets.
