Application
A primary regulator is designed to
reduce the pressure in a HPC high-
pressure cylinder (as much as 3335
PSI) to a lower pressure.
A secondary regulator is designed
to supply a reduced exact pressure
to each individual product

before you start using the regulator.
Warning: When working with
pressurised equipment or equipment
used for gases, please always follow
the safety regulations to avoid
damage to persons or materials.

Always keep workplace and
equipment clean.
•
Only use equipment designed
for the purpose.
•
Check equipment regularly
for leaks, and do not use
unauthorized tools or articles
not designed for use with
the regulator.
•
Carefully handle regulator and
do not drop. If regulator is
dropped immediately check
regulator for leaks. If leaks are
found immediately stop using
regulator and request service or
replace regulator.

Prevent foreign particles or dust
from getting into the regulator.
•
Be aware of ice formation on the
regulator. Freezing the regulator
can result in damage and can
also cause frostbite if contacted.
Formation of ice typically is
associated with a high flow of
gas through the regulator. This
may be an indication of a large
leak downstream.
•
Do not disassemble or alter the
configuration of the regulator.
Disassembly and repair should
be performed by a trained
service provider.
•
Place the equipment in
environments away from
water, salt, acid, etc. in order to
avoid corrosion.
•
If safety relief valve opens
immediately shut off gas supply
and request service.
•
Please note that certain gases
(for instance CO2/N) can in
high concentration have a
suffocating effect. If a CO2/N
leak is found, leave the area
and arrange for immediate
ventilation.
•
It is vital that you are aware of
and understand the properties
and risks, so that you can take
the appropriate steps in case
of an emergency. If you are
in doubt, please contact your
gas supplier.
