The filter automatically detects the start of welding
(opening of the arc) and activates darkening. When welding
stops, the filter switches off and will become clear, allowing
the user to see the work performed.
The filter of this helmet allows you to select two shade level
adjustment ranges (DIN 5-8 and DIN 9-13).
1. Set the darkening level adjustment button (8) to "5-8" or
"9-13" according to the type of welding and welding
current to be used;
2. Use the shade adjustment knob (6) to set the desired
darkening level.
To use the appropriate shade level for each type of
welding, refer to the table in Image E.
The delay time defines the period it takes for the filter to
change from dark to clear after finishing welding.
1. Turn the time delay adjustment knob (7) to select (MAX -
1sec, MIN - 0.1sec).
For optimal performance, you should set the sensitivity at
the maximum level (MAX) at first and then gradually reduce
it until the filter reacts only to the welding arc, without
undesirable disturbances due to ambient light conditions
(direct sunlight, artificial light, welder's nearby arcs, etc.).
1. The sensitivity can be adjusted between "MAX"
(maximum) and "MIN" (minimum) using the sensitivity
adjustment knob (10).
The filter is powered by solar cells or a lithium battery.
When not in use, the helmet should be stored in a dry
location within a temperature range of -10°C to 60°C.
Prolonged exposure to temperatures above 45°C may
decrease the life of the filter battery. It is recommended
that you keep the filter's solar cells in a dark place not
exposed to light during storage to keep them powered off.
Keep the solar cells and light sensors of the filter free from
dust and other types of dirt.
Cleaning can be done with a soft cloth, or a cloth soaked in
neutral detergent (or alcohol). Never use aggressive
solvents such as acetone.
Cleaning
After each use clean all the parts of the equipment. Rub it
with a clean, damp cloth or blow with compressed air at low
pressure.
Careful handling protects the equipment and increases its
service life.
Storage
Store the equipment in its transport box, in a dry place and
out of children's reach.
The packaging is made up of recyclable materials,
which you can dispose on local recycling points.
Never dispose of power tools with your household
