• It is recommended that the carrycot
be aired out after prolonged use.
• Keep the product out of reach of chil-
dren when it is not being used.
COMPONENTS
The contents of the packaging include:
• a semi-rigid carrycot with canopy
• internal lining
• a cover
• a mattress
TIPS FOR CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
This product requires periodical maintenance. Cleaning
and maintenance should only be carried out by an adult.
CLEANING
Clean non-removable fabric sections using a damp sponge
and neutral soap. Periodically wipe the plastic parts clean
with a soft damp cloth. To prevent the formation of rust,
always dry metal parts if they have come into contact with
water.
WASHING
The internal lining of the carrycot and the mattress cover
are removable and washable. To carry out these operations
refer to the chapter on REMOVING THE LINING OF THE CAR-
RYCOT / MATTRESS.
Carefully follow the washing instructions on the label.
In the event that the mattress padding needs to be washed,
be sure that it has dried completely before using again.
The washing symbols and relative meanings are indicated
below:
Hand wash
Do not bleach
Do not tumble dry
Do not iron
Do not dry clean
MAINTENANCE
Do not submerge in water. Regularly clean plastic sections
with a damp cloth and keep free of dust and sand to avoid
friction. Do not leave the product exposed to the sun for a
long period of time; the fabrics may discolour. Do not use
solvents or abrasive products for cleaning.
FIRST ASSEMBLY OF THE CARRYCOT
1. When assembling the carrycot the U-shaped rod will
need to be pulled outwards using the strap provided
(Fig. 1) until it has fully locked into the fasteners located
on the plastic base (Fig. 1A). Repeat this operation with
the other rod.
2. Place the lining inside the carrycot being sure that the mesh
insert aligns with the external insert and fasten the lining
with the zipper that runs across the perimeter (Fig. 2).
3. Place the mattress on the base of the carrycot (Fig. 3).
4. Raise the carry handle (Fig. 4) to the vertical position (Fig.
4A) making sure that both of the locks on the handle's ro-
tation joints have engaged.
5. Place the cover on the carrycot and fasten using the ap-
propriate zipper (Fig. 5) and buttons (Fig. 5A).
For added protection against the wind and cold, lift the
fabric flap and fix it in place using the buttons on the cover
(Fig. 5B).
CARRY HANDLE
6. The carry handle can be lowered. To lower it, push the
buttons on the outside of the canopy junctions at the
same time and push the handle downwards (Fig. 6).
CANOPY
7. The carrycot includes a fabric canopy built into the frame
and handle.
To lower the canopy refer to paragraph 6.
PRIVACY SUNVISOR
Next to the handle there is an openable fabric component:
the "Privacy Sunvisor" (a fabric cover that provides shelter
and privacy for the child).
To extract the sunvisor open the zipper found next to the
handle, (Fig. 7) unroll the fabric and fasten it to the carry-
cot's tube frame (Fig. 7A).
AERATION SYSTEM OF THE CARRYCOT
8. To increase the ventilation of the carrycot, open the fabric
segment on the base of the canopy (Fig. 8). For additional
aeration open the fabric flap positioned near the head of
the child (Fig. 8A).
FASTENING THE CARRYCOT TO THE STROLLER
To fasten the carrycot, it is necessary to remove the stroller
seat or the child car seat if present.
9. Hold the handle in transport position (vertical and locked
in place) and attach the carrycot to the plastic fasteners
on the sides of the stroller with the foot zone facing the
handle of the stroller, ease the carrycot onto the frame
until both fasteners click into position (Fig. 9).
WARNING: Before use, make sure that the carrycot is prop-
erly attached by pulling upwards (Fig. 9A).
REMOVING THE CARRYCOT FROM THE STROLLER
10. With the handle locked in the vertical position (carrying
position) press the buttons on the sides of the plastic
adaptors (Fig. 10) and lift the carrycot off the stroller (Fig.
10A).
WARNING: The fastening and releasing operations can
be carried out with your child inside the carrycot; howev-
er, these operations may be more difficult to execute due
to the child's weight. Pay attention when carrying out the
aforementioned operations.
CLOSING THE CARRYCOT
11. The dimensions of the carrycot can be reduced when
it is not being used. Lower the handle by pushing on
the levers at the junctions of the canopy (Fig. 6). Then
carry out the operations for the rods described in the
"FIRST ASSEMBLY OF THE CARRYCOT" paragraph in re-
verse order.
