INTRODUCTION
Dear Customer,
We'd like to thank you for purchasing our product. Please read the following operating instructions thoroughly
before using this product for the first time and keep it handy for future reference (S1).
Please check the product before use for any damage.
PROPER USE
• The product conforms to the appropriate European CE directives (S2).
• This product conforms to the appropriate European safety standards.
• The product is IP20 rated and suitable for use in dry interior spaces (S3).
• The product is intended exclusively for household use or similar purposes. It must not be used for commercial
purposes!
• The product may only be used only for the purpose for which it is intended, in accordance with this user manual!
• The product is not suitable for rough use (e.g. construction sites)!
• The product is not intended for use by persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental abilities
are limited or who lack experience and knowledge! These persons may only use the product if they are
supervised by a person responsible for their safety, or if they have been inducted into how to use the product!
The supervision and use of this product must be carried out by a responsible person!
• Make sure that this product is kept out of the reach of children or unauthorised persons.
GENERAL INFORMATION
• Handle this product carefully. It can be damaged by shocks, blows or by being dropped, even from a low height!
• Disconnect the product's mains power plug in the event of a fault during operation.
• This product has no replaceable parts. Do not attempt to open or repair this product!
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Please observe the technical specifications!
• Please follow this instruction manual and keep it in a safe place!
• Please pass on this instruction manual to a subsequent owner!
• Not to be used by children!
• Do not operate a defective product!
• Check the device regularly for damage, for example to the housing and the plug pins, secure closure, tight fit of
the cover. If any faults or doubts about safe operation are found, do not continue to use the device.
• Must not be used in areas that represent an explosion hazard (e.g. carpentry workshop, paintshop, or similar)!
• Do not use in the immediate vicinity of flammable materials!
• Do not install in the immediate vicinity of paddling pools, fountains, ponds or similar bodies of water.
• Do not immerse in water or other liquids!
• Do not operate with wet hands!
• Do not operate the product when covered (S4). This could lead to a dangerous buildup of heat!
• The product must remain freely accessible (also when in use)!
• For the connection, only use regular mains sockets (230V~, 50Hz) with protective conductors of the public
supply network which are easily accessible!
• Do not open the housing (S5)!
• Never operate with an open housing, or missing or damaged terminal compartment cover.
• A conversion or modification of the product affects product safety. Caution: risk of injury! A conversion or
modification of the product must not be carried out!
• De-energised only when the plug is pulled out (S6)!
• Do not operate the product's buttons with electrically conductive objects!
• Do not plug one behind the other (S7)!
• Do not operate in conjunction with adapters or intermediate plugs (S8).
• Do not plug in a plug-in device (S9)!
• Do not operate the product at, on or in the vicinity of open flames (e.g. candles)!
• Do not expose the product to direct sun and shield it from extreme heat!
• Only connect devices up to max. 3680W total power!
• The product's keys must not be in permanent operation!
• The device is equipped with increased protection against accidental contact. The two pins of a plug can only be
inserted into the sockets at the same time.
• Unplug the device from the socket if it is not going to be used for a long time.
• Plug this product directly into the wall socket!

FUNCTION
The energy measuring device measures the voltage, the power consumption and the power-on time and
calculates the electric work in kWh out of it. If the energy cost are entered, also the cost are calculated and
displayed. The energy cost are calculated as follows:

ASSEMBLY PLACE
This product is for the use in dry rooms.
It must not be exposed to wetness, rain or spray-water. Not for outdoor use.
ASSEMBLY
The power calculator is plugged directly into the socket. Pay attention to safety instructions!
HANDLING
1. Connect the device to the mains.
2. The display shows all features and changes into the cost mode after 3 seconds.
The last value before the power cut-off is shown.
3. Press the button „SET" to adjust the tariff or the kWh. Firstly the tariff is shown and then the kWh,
if the button is pushed again.
Firstly the right digit blinks, which can be changed by pushing the button „".
The value can be changed by pushing the Button „+". Finish the setting by pushing the „MENU"-button.
4. Plug in the desired consumer.
Note:
• The reset button is used to restart the unit, whereby the information on costs, tariff and kWh is not deleted. To do
this, keep the button pressed.
• The cost and kWh information can be reset by manually entering the value 0. To do this, press the „Set" key twice
and use the „" and „+" keys to enter the value 0.
• The value for kWh can either start at 0 or be set to any value (e.g. the current value of your electricity meter).
• The „" and „+" keys only function in setting mode („SET").
• The display goes out when the unit is removed from the socket. However, the recorded data are retained.
• The unit is not suitable for billing electricity costs.

CLEANING
• Unplug the product from the mains before cleaning it.
• Clean with a dry or slightly moist, clean, lint-free cloth and a mild detergent if required. Do not use cleaners that
contain abrasives or solvents.
WEEE DISPOSAL INFORMATION
According to the European regulations, used electrical and electronic equipment may no longer be put out into
unsorted rubbish. The symbol on the wheeled rubbish bin points out the necessity for separated collection. Help
us to protect the environment and ensure that this unit is put out in the appropriate systems for separate collection
