– Dry off any overflow or con­
densate immediately. Always
unplug the appliance from the
mains before doing so.
– Do not fill the water jug when it
is sitting on the base, as water
spillages may cause an electric
shock.
– Only use the kettle if there is
no visible damage to the power
cord, base and water jug. If
the power cord is damaged, it
must be replaced by the manu­
facturer, the manufacturer's
after­sales service or a similarly
qualified person to eliminate
risk of personal injury.
– You should never place any
metal objects in the base.
– Only use the kettle with the
base that has been designed
for it (type fontana / cavita ).

Risk of burns
– When the kettle is heating
water, the outer surface of the
water jug may get very hot.
Always hold the kettle by the
handle.
– Never open the lid of the water
jug while the kettle is in the pro­
cess of heating water, as hot
water may splash out. Hot and
boiling water and the resulting
steam can cause severe burns.
– Never fill the water jug to above
the maximum fill level, as this
may cause boiling water to spill
out.
– Always allow the kettle to cool
down before cleaning.
