14. SUN CANOPY
The sun canopy is included with some
versions of the car seat.
To fit the canopy, simply attach it to
the car seat headrest using the two
buttons at the base of each arch (Fig.
17.1) and then pass the headrest ad-
justment ring (B) through the hole at
the base of the canopy (Fig. 17.2).
To use the canopy, simply pull on the end
of it and select the most suitable position
to protect your child from the sun' s rays.
15. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning and maintenance operations
must only be carried out by an adult.
CLEANING THE FABRIC COVER
AND THE REDUCER
The car seat's fabric cover can be re-
moved completely and washed by
hand or in a washing machine at 30
°C, while the reducer cushion can only
be washed by hand.
Please refer to the care label for in-
structions on cleaning the seat fabric.

Never use abrasive detergents or
solvents. Do not dry the fabric cov-
er within a dryer, let it dry without
squeezing it.
The fabric cover must only be re-
placed with another cover approved
by the manufacturer, since it is an in-
tegral part of the child car seat and,
therefore, one of its safety elements.
WARNING! To ensure the safety of the
child car seat, never use it without its
fabric cover.
To remove the fabric cover follow the
instructions below:
Headrest
Remove the headrest and release the
buttons (Fig. 18.1).
Seat
Free the velcro on the central flap (Fig.
18.2) and then remove the fabric from
the body (Fig. 18.3).
To cover the car seat, repeat the steps
described above in opposite order
and use the supplied tool.
HOW TO CLEAN THE PLASTIC OR
METAL PARTS
Clean the plastic and coated metal
parts with a damp cloth only. Never
use abrasive detergents or solvents.
The moving parts of the child car seat
must not be lubricated.
