Remove dirt and any particles that may be clogged.
4. Fuel
Use only unleaded gasoline for automobiles.
Never use oil / gas mixture or dirty gasoline.
Do not introduce dirt, dust or water into the fuel tank.
WARNING do not fill beyond the red line of level.
ATTENTION Gasoline is extremely flammable and explo-
sive under certain conditions.
- The fuel supply must be carried out in a well-ventilated place and
with the engine switched off. Do not smoke or produce flames or
sparks at the place where the fuel is supplied or where the subs-
tance is stored. After filling, check that the tank cap is perfectly
closed.
- Pay attention during the supply. Gasoline spills and vapors it ge-
nerates are flammable. In case of spills, check that the area is dry
before starting the engine.
- Avoid prolonged contact with skin and inhalation of vapors.
Maximum capacity of the tank: 2.6 l.
Place the tiller in a horizontal
plane and remove the oil filler
cap. The oil level should match
the bottom of the oil fill hole.
Add oil for good quality engines
if the level is low.
(1) Fuel limit
Petrol containing alcohol
If you choose to use gasolines containing alcohol (gasoil) you can
check that the number of octane is not less than he advised for the
machine. There are two types of diesel: the first contains ethanol,
the second methanol. Do not use gasoil containing more than 10%
ethanol. Do not use gasoline containing methanol (dimethyl or me-
thyl alcohol) without solvents and anti-corrosive for methanol, but
never more than 5% methanol.
NOTE:
- Damage caused to the carburetion system or to the engine due to
the use of fuel containing alcohol is excluded from the guarantee. It
is discouraged to use fuels containing methanol as their safety has
not yet been demonstrated.
- Before the purchase it is possible to verify that the fuel does not
contain alcohol, if it contains approximately knows the type and
the percentage of alcohol present. If operating faults are noticed,
switch to a type of fuel that does not contain alcohol.
5. Accessories and extensions
To install accessories or extension cords on the motorcycle, follow
the corresponding instructions and in case of problems, contact
your dealer.
6. STARTING OF THE ENGINE
ATTENTION When starting up the engine, make sure
that the silencer is in use and, if necessary, replace it.
WARNING When starting the engine, check that the
clutch is deactivated and that the gear shift lever is in
neutral, to prevent any inadvertent movement. It clutches by pulling
the lever of the gearshift, to release the lever is
released.
1. Turn ON the fuel valve and then, close the air valve (ON).
