Operation
Setting the timer to switch off more than one cooking zone
If you use this function for more than one cooking
zone, the timer indicator will show the shortest
time.
(e.g. if zone 1# sets a time of 3 minutes, zone 2#
sets a time of 6 minutes, the timer indicator shows
"3").
NOTE: The flashing red dot next to the power
level indicator means that the timer indicator is
showing the heating zone time.
If you want to check the set time of another
heating zone, touch the heating zone slider once.
The timer will indicate the set time.
When the cooking timer expires, the
corresponding heating zone will automatically
switch off and display "H".
will automatically switch off and display "H".
NOTE: If you want to change the time after the
timer is set, you have to start from step 1.
Overheating protection
The induction hob is equipped with a temperature sensor to monitor the temperature inside the
induction hob. If an excessive temperature is detected, the induction hob will automatically stop working.
Detection of small items
When an improperly sized or non-magnetic frying pan (e.g. aluminium) or other small object (e.g. knife,
fork, key) is left on the hob, the hob automatically switches to the standby phase in 1 minute. The fan will
continue to run on the induction hob for a further 1 minute.
Automatic shutdown
The automatic switch-off is a function designed to protect your hob. It switches off automatically if you
ever forget to turn off the cooktop. The preset operating times for various power levels are shown in the
table below:
Power level
Default working time (hours)
Note: When the pan is removed, the induction hob may stop heating immediately so the hob wil
automatically switch off after 2 minutes.
Warning! Persons with a pacemaker should consult their physician before using this equipment.
