5 TOP-QUALITY PROTECTION FOR CYCLISTS, INLINE SKATERS AND
ROLLER SKATERS.
WARNING! This helmet should not be used by children while climbing or doing
other activities when there is a risk of strangulation/hanging if the child gets
trapped with the helmet.
INSTRUCTIONS ON ASSEMBLY AND USE
Please read these instructions carefully. The instructions are an integral part of
the product. Therefore, please store them and the packaging carefully in case
questions arise in the future. Please always include these instructions when you
are handing on the product to a third-party. Children should only assemble or use
the product when they are under adult supervision. This product is not designed
for industrial use. Use the product for its intended purpose only. This helmet was
developed to absorb a portion of the energy of a fall. In accordance with EN 1078,
the helmet can be used during cycling, skating, roller skating and skateboarding.
HOW DO I SET THE CORRECT SIZE?
The helmet can fully protect only when it fits correctly.
On the inside of the helmet, you will find a tag with the
tested size categories. Inside the shell the helmet is
equipped with an adjustable ring. Turn the adjustment
ring (A) clockwise or counter-clockwise to lengthen or
shorten the ring. It is advisable to test different sized
helmets for comparison. The choice should fall on a
helmet that fits tightly and at the same time comfortably.
The helmet should not move when in motion.
HOW SHOULD THE HELMET FIT?
Now that the helmet fits correctly, it needs to be adapted to its wearer. Extend the
adjustment ring so that the helmet fits loosely on the head. The helmet should
clasp around the head well and should be worn level. The front of the helmet brim
should be 1-2 fingerbreadths above the root of the nose. Adjust the adjustment ring
until the helmet fits solid. Whether the helmet is fastened securely can be tested by
shaking the head lightly with the chin straps open. When the helmet moves, you
need to slightly adjust the adjustment ring.
HOW DO I SET THE STRAPS CORRECTLY?
Check which strap is loose. Tighten the loose strap after removing the helmet.
When tightening the chin straps, hold the buckle with one hand and then push the
loose strap through. In order to tighten the rear strap, you pull the excess part of
the rear of strap 2. Hold the helmet with one hand. With the other hand you pull
the strap that runs under the chin of the wearer. Then pull this strap from one side
to the other, to even the length of all four straps. The catch should not be placed
directly under the chin.
