Using the appliance
Inserting/replacing batteries
1.
Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the
scale.
2.
Insert 2 x 1.5 V LR03/AAA batteries (supplied) with the
positive and negative poles in the proper direction as
indicated in the compartment (see figure below).
3.
Put the cover back on.

Use only the battery type specified in this manual.
•
Replace the batteries when they are dead or if they leak.
•
Remove the batteries if the scale is not to be used for a prolonged period.
Turning the scale on
To turn on the scale, first place it on a flat, stable surface.
Press the centre of the scale until it lights up.
Choose the unit of measurement
•
By default, the unit of measurement is grams (g).
•
Select the unit of measurement by pressing the "UNIT" button one or more times. It
switches from grams (g) to solid ounces (lb:oz) followed by fluid ounces (oz) and then
millilitres (ml) before returning to grams (g).
