Put an extraction hose (dia. 35 mm) (15) (accessory) into
the installed adapter (3). Connect the dust extraction
hose (15) to a dust extractor (accessory). You will find an
overview of connecting to various vacuum cleaners at the
end of these operating instructions.
The dust extractor must be suitable for the material being
worked.
When extracting dry dust or dust that is especially detri-
mental to health or carcinogenic, use a special dust ex-
tractor.
Operation
Adjusting the depth stop (see figure D)
The cutting depth may be adjusted only when the
u
power tool is switched off.
Proceed as follows to adjust the depth stop:
– Place the depth stop (2) on the workpiece to be pro-
cessed.
– Loosen the fastening screw (9) to adjust the depth
stop (2).
– Push the depth stop (2) to the required position and
tighten the fastening screw (9).
– Make sure before starting work that there is enough space
behind the workpiece so that the application tool does
not encounter a hard substrate.
Starting Operation
Switching On and Off
Set the cutting depth before switching on.
To switch on the power tool, press and hold the on/off
switch (5) until the worklight (4) turns on and the tool
powers on. The on/off switch (5) must be held for longer
than 1 second to prevent accidental actuation of the tool.
To switch off the power tool, press the on/off switch (5).
The power tool will be turned off immediately and the applic-
ation tool will come to an immediate stop due to the motor
brake.
Working Advice
Protect application tools from shock and impact.
u
The power tool can be used for cutting up to a material thick-
ness of 32 mm.
Cut-outs of any shape are possible without pre-drilling by in-
serting the application tool while the power tool is running.
Maintenance and Service
Maintenance and Cleaning
Remove the battery from the power tool before carry-
u
ing out work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance,
changing tool, etc.). The battery should also be re-
moved for transport and storage. There is risk of injury
from unintentionally pressing the on/off switch.
