Each time you press (AF), the item changes as
follows:

• When " NO AF" and t he st at ion name f lash
alt ernat ely, it means t hat t he unit cannot f ind an
alt ernat ive st at ion in t he net w ork.
• If t he st at ion name st art s f lashing af t er select ing
a st at ion w it h t he AF f unct ion on, t his indicat es
t hat no alt ernat ive f requency is available. Press
eit her side of (SEEK/AMS) w hile t he st at ion name
is f lashing (w it hin eight seconds). The unit st art s
searching f or anot her f requency w it h t he same PI
(Programme Ident if icat ion) dat a (" PI SEEK"
appears and no sound is heard). If t he unit
cannot f ind anot her f requency, " NO PI" appears,
and t he unit ret urns t o t he previously select ed
f requency.
List ening t o a regional program m e
The "REG-ON" (regional on) function lets you
stay tuned to a regional programme without
being switched to another regional station.
(Note that you must turn the AF function on.)
The unit is factory preset to "REG-ON," but if
you want to turn off the function, do the
following.
During radio reception, press (AF) for
two seconds until "REG-OFF" appears.
Note that selecting "REG-OFF" might cause
the unit to switch to another regional
station within the same network.
To return to regional on, select "REG-ON."

Kingdom and in some ot her areas.

Local link f unct ion
(Unit ed Kingdom only)
The Local Link function lets you select other
local stations in the area, even if they are not
stored on your number buttons.

Press a number button that has a local
station stored on it.

Within five seconds, press the number
button of the local station again.

Repeat this procedure until the desired
local station is received.
