You can assign a name to each radio station
and store it in memory. The name of the
station currently tuned in appears in the
display. You can assign a name of up to eight
characters for a station.

Tune in a station w hose name you w ant
to store.

Press (MENU) , then press either side of
(DISC/PRST) repeatedly until " Name
Edit " appears.

Press (ENTER) .

Enter the characters.
1 Press (+) side of (DISC/PRST)
repeatedly to select the desired
characters.

··· 9 t + t – t * t / t \ t > t <

If you press (–) side of (DISC/PRST)
repeatedly, the characters appear in the
reverse order.
If you want to put a blank space
between characters, select " " (under-
bar).
2 Press (+) side of (SEEK/AMS) after
locating the desired character.
The next character flashes.
If you press (–) side of (SEEK/AMS), the
previous character flashes.
3 Repeat steps 1 and 2 to enter the
entire name.

To return to the normal radio reception,
press (ENTER) .

• To erase or correct a name, ent er "

Likew ise, you can complet e t he operat ion by
pressing and holding (LIST) f or t w o seconds

Displaying t he st at ion nam e
Press (DSPL) during radio reception.
Each time you press (DSPL), the item
changes as follows:
Station name * y Frequency
* If t he st at ion name of a st at ion is not st ored,
" NO Name" appears in t he display f or one
second.
Erasing t he st at ion nam e

Tune in a station you w ant to erase.

Press (MENU) , then press either side of
(DISC/PRST) repeatedly until " NameDel "
appears.

Press (ENTER) .
4
Press either side of (DISC/PRST) to select
the station name you w ant to erase.
5
Press (ENTER) for tw o seconds.
The name is erased.
Repeat steps 4 through 5 if you want to
erase other names.
6
To return to the normal radio reception,
press (MENU) .
Note
When you erase all of t he st at ion names, " NO
Dat a" appears in st ep 5.
