2. Loosen the screws of the cutting
accessories protection (18);
3. Adjust the fixing plate and the
accessory protection in the fixing
bracket (17);
4. Place and tighten the plate and
accessories protection fixing screws;
5. Place the tab in the base of the
cutting accessories protection and
fasten it through the fixing slots;
The
cutting
protection does not protect the
user against all objects (stones, glass,
cables, etc.) that are projected for the
cutting accessory. These objects can
bounce off any surface and reach the
user.
3.5 - CUTTING DISC ASSEMBLY

Check the disc status before installing
it. If damaged (fractured, bent or
cracked), replace it.
1. Place the support base (22) in
the rotation screw on the cutting
accessories holder (2);
2. Insert one of the hexagonal keys or
the screwdriver into the support hole of
the fixing accessories (23) and in the
base of the cutting accessories to lock
the rotating screw (26);
3. Place the cutting disc (28, 29) on
the support base. Check if the disc is
installed with the edge towards the
rotation movement;
4. Place the cover (24) and tighten the
disc fixing nut (25) counter clockwise,
using the wrench provided;
5. Remove the key from the accessory
holder;

NYLON LINE ASSEMBLY

1. Place the support base (22) in the
rotating screw (26) on the cutting
accessories holder (2);
2. Insert one of the hexagonal keys or
the screwdriver into the hole in fixing
accessories support (23) and in the
base of the cutting accessories to lock
the rotation screw;
3. Tighten the cutting head with nylon
line (1) in the rotating screw counter
accessories
clockwise;
4. Remove the key from the accessory
holder;
3.7 - INSTALLING THE NYLON
LINE IN THE CUTTING HEAD

1. Press the fastening flaps (27) and
remove the cutting head cover (28);
2. Remove the reel (29) from the cover
and remove the existing wire;
3. Prepare about 5m of wire (30) and
fold it in the middle.
4. Secure the line in the slot of the
central tab of the reel, in the folding
position;
5. Wind both ends in parallel, one on
each side of the center tab, clockwise
(arrow shown in the reel);
6. Attach the ends of the wire into the
line fixing slots (31) of the reel;
7. Insert the reel into the cutting head
cover;
8. Release the wire from the fixing slots
and insert the ends of the wire into the
slots on the cover;
9. Reinstall the cutting head cover;
3.8 - ATTACHING THE
TRANSPORT STRAP (FIG. I)
Always use the transportation strap
(32) while using the machine.
1. Attach the transportation strap fixing
hook (33) into the strap fastening
accessory (34);
2. Adjust the strap so that the left hand
can hold the handle at the waist level;
3. Ensure that the connectors are
fastened;
4. OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
When operating this tool, you must take
certain precautions and procedures
into account in order to avoid damage
and increase its efficiency:
. Make sure the unit is turned on more
than 3 m from the fuelling area;
. Always hold the device with both
hands and hold it the right side of your
body;
. Keep cutting accessories below the
waist level, to reduce the risk of being
hit by objects during the operation;
. Do not use the appliance to cut
branches or logs. If you try to cut logs
larger than the recommended size, the
unit may rewind and cause accidents to
the user;
. When the engine runs at idle speed,
the cutting accessory does not rotate.
If not, contact your customer service
to perform an inspection and solve the
problem;
. If you hear an unusual noise or if
the device vibrates abnormally, stop
working and identify the cause;
. Never use this tool without the cutting
accessories protection;
