1. INTRODUCTION
Congratulations and many thanks for the purchase of the 5-Port
Ethernet Network Switch. All devices that we distribute comply with
the safety regulations valid at the time of purchase, and are safe
provided they are used for the intended purpose. Please observe
the following instructions to avoid possible hazards, damage and
malfunctions.
These
Operating and Safety Instructions are included with the 5-Port
Network Switch. They contain important information on how to use
the product. To facilitate the reading of the Operating and Safety
Instructions, hereafter we refer to the 5-Port Network Switch as
"network switch". Please read the instruction manual carefully, in
particular the safety instructions, before using the network switch.
This particularly applies to the safety instructions. Failure to follow
these operating instructions can result in serious injury or damage
to the network switch. Retain the instructions for future reference.
If you give the network switch to another person, make sure it is
accompanied by this instruction manual.
