h)
To avoid electric shock, do not immerse the power cable, its plug or the
appliance itself in water or other liquid. Do not use the appliance on wet
surfaces.
i)
CAUTION – DANGER TO LIFE! When cleaning or using the appliance, never
immerse it in water or other liquids.
j)
Do not use the appliance in highly humid rooms or in a direct vicinity to
tanks/reservoirs/vessels with water!
k)
The appliance must not get wet. Risk of electric shock!
l)
Before operating, verify that the protective earth wire is properly bonded to
earth.
2.2.
Workplace safety
a)
Keep the workplace tidy and well lit. Disorder or poor lighting can lead to
accidents. Be careful, watch what you are doing and use common sense when
working with the appliance.
b)
Do not use the appliance in areas of explosion hazard, for example in the
presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. The appliance generates sparks
which can ignite dust or vapours.
c)
In the event of damage or malfunction of the appliance, turn it off immediately
and report the incident to authorised personnel.
d)
If in doubt as to whether the appliance is working, contact the manufacturer's
technical service.
e)
Repairs to the appliance shall only be carried out by the manufacturer's
service. Do not attempt to repair the product on your own!
f)
In the event of ignition or a fire, use dry powder or CO2 extinguishers only to
suppress the fire of the appliance if live with electrical voltage.
g)
No children or unauthorised individuals shall be allowed at the workplace.
(Lack of attention may result in loss of control over the appliance).
h)
Use the appliance in a well-ventilated room.
i)
Dust and fragments are ejected when operating this appliance. Protect
bystanders against injury.
j)
Connect and disconnect the compressed air line with the compressed air
supply isolated upstream.
k)
Do not aim the compressed air line outlet towards any people or animals.
Compressed air is pressurized and may cause severe injury
l)
Do not isolate the compressed air supply by kinking or clamping/crushing the
pressurized lines.
m) When starting to operate the appliance, gradually increase the compressed air
supply to the appliance and verify the appliance operates correctly. If the
appliance operates abnormally, immediately isolate it from the compressed air
supply and contact the manufacturer's service.
n)
Check the condition of the safety warning stickers regularly. Replace them if
they are illegible.
