UL Type 1 electronic lock
To power the lock, one 9-volt alkaline battery is required
(not included).
NOTE: Non-alkaline and rechargeable batteries ARE NOT
RECOMMENDED.
To install the battery, pull down on the battery cover located
just below the keypad. (Fig. A) Fasten battery to connector,
insert battery back into the lock and replace battery cover.
NOTE: Pulling on the battery to disconnect may
damage the connecting wires. To properly
remove the battery, unsnap the connector
cap with your finger, while holding
the battery.

NOTE: The lock allows 10 seconds for each key
press. If you pause longer, the lock will not
respond indicating you should start over.
1. Press the six-digit factory code. The lock responds with a
"double beep" and the red LED flashes.
2. Open the door.
NOTE: Three beeps indicate an incorrect code has
been entered. Wait 30 seconds and enter
correct combination.

1. Enter the Factory Code and HOLD DOWN LAST DIGIT
of COMBINATION until the lock signals with two
double beeps.
2. Press 1. The lock signals twice.
3. Enter your new six-digit code twice. (The lock signals
twice after each valid entry. )

Battery replacement
When old battery is removed for replacement, your User
Code will still work.
Low battery warning
Repeated beeping during an opening indicates that the
battery is low and needs immediate replacement.
Lost factory code
If you have chosen to program your own user code
and lose it, your factory code will remain on file for
future reference as needed, in our Sentry database.
To obtain your lost code, first, find your safe's Serial
Number. The Serial Number is printed on the small label
on the right side of the safe (outside). Send this and a
check or money order for $8.00 (U.S. funds). Payment may
also be made using your VISA or Mastercard credit card.
Please include a written statement of ownership
witnessed and signed by a notary public or bank official.
The notary must have a different last name than the owner.

If the factory code is inadvertently erased, it will be
permanently lost. It would be necessary to have a
locksmith open the safe.
