12. DIAGNOSTICS
The following table shows possible failures and the way in which they are signalled with alarms (Mains Failure,
Urgent Failure, Non Urgent Failure and End of battery life):
Active Alarm
Mains failure
Urgent Failure
Non-urgent Failure
End of autonomy
NOTE 1: Check that the value for the voltage of the connected batteries is appropriate (48V in total, 4 batteries
of 12V in series). Otherwise, connect the appropriate batteries to the device.
NOTE 2: It is essential to replace the battery as soon as possible, as it is reaching the end of its useful life.
Reset the device to restore normal operation. This alarm can also be triggered if the battery is defective or
degraded (cross-cell).
NOTE 3: It is highly unlikely, but temporarily, for a few seconds, this error could occur on start-up if, for some
reason, the battery voltage is higher than the output voltage of the product. In this case, the device will
recover. If this is not the problem, the error will persist and the system will need human intervention for a
replacement.
NOTE 4: Check that the battery sensor is connected. If it is connected, replace it with a new one; otherwise,
connect a sensor supplied by PREMIUM.
NOTE 5: This can be produced by an overload in the output. If this is the case, the device will periodically
check if the overload persists. If the overload is no longer present, the device will recover. This can also be
caused by a failure in the regulation of the device. If this problem persists, replace it with a new device in
order to check whether it is an overload at the output or a fault in the device.
NOTE 6: This can be produced by an equipment failure in which more volts are supplied to the output than is
set in the parameters, by incorrect configuration of the device parameters, or by the connection of a battery
with more volts. In this situation, the device disconnects the battery for a period of time. After this period has
elapsed, it tries to reconnect it. If the voltage is within the margins, the device will recover; otherwise, it will
carry out this check 3 more times. If all of these retries are unsatisfactory, the output will be disconnected
indefinitely.
