Using Your Indoor Electric Grill:
IMPORTANT: Please check all packaging material carefully before discarding as there may
be accessory parts contained within the packaging material.
WARNING: Always use your Griddle on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface. Do Not Use
without Drip Pan securely in place.
1. First, please clean surfaces of grill before first use with a non-abrasive, damp cloth and
dry.
2. Place Drip pan onto base of Grill.
3. Plug the dial control into grill and plug the Power cord into an electrical outlet. Then turn
the Control Knob to desired heat level. Preheat the Electric Griddle until indictor light
shuts off.
NOTE: A slight odor and small smoking can occur upon heating, it is normal. This is a result
of the heating element chemical reaction. It quickly goes away.
4. Prepare ingredients while grill preheats for 2-3 minutes. Please the prepared ingredients
onto the cooking plate.
5. Cook for required length of time, then remove food with a heat-resistant plastic or
wooden spatula.
6. Turn off grill by turning the temperature control dial to the "OFF" position. Then unplug
from outlet and let grill cool down. Once cool you may remove the power supply cord
from the base.
Tips:
• The Signal light may turn on and off, this indicates the proper temperature of your grill is
being maintained.
• Always preheat the non-sticking plate before starting to cook. Carefully apply a thin coat
of cooking oil to the nonstick cooking plate, a paper towel can be used. This will help
prolong the life of the non-stick coating.
• Frozen food should always be thawed before it is grilled.
• When cooking foods that require different temperatures, cook the foods that require
the highest heat setting first and then turn down the grill before adding the remaining
ingredients.
CAUTION: Always use oven mitts when handling. The handles of the grill become very hot
during cooking.
WARNING: Always unplug the product from the electrical outlet when it is not in use or
will be left unattended.
Cleaning Your Electric Grill:
WARNING: Always unplug the product and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Remove the heat control from the grill. Carefully lift drip pan out of base. Dispose of any
liquid in the drip pan. NEVER try to clean the drip tray when any contents are still hot.
• Wash Drip pan and grill with warm soapy water and non-metal cleaning pad. Do not use
abrasive cleaners or metal pads as they may damage the nonstick.
