Before usage
•
Place the battery (3 batteries type AAA for personal scale and 1 battery type AA for the clock) in the
battery compartment.
•
Set the desired measurement unit by switching the unit switch on the back of the scale.
•
Place your scale on a flat, solid surface. Please ensure that both the floor where the personal scale set
up and the surface of the personal scale are not wet, to ensure that nobody slips.
•
In the battery compartment you can scroll a button to change the time.
Usage
•
Tap your foot lightly on the centre of the personal scale until "Cal" appears on the LCD display.
•
Stand with both feet on the personal scale once "0.0" appears on the LCD display.
•
During weighing, the "kg/lb/St" LCD display flashes and the displayed value rises until your weight has
been determined.
•
The "kg/lb/St" display now stops flashing and your weight is displayed in grades of 0.1 kg and 0.2 lb.
Warning Displays
•
"O-Ld": Overloaded, appears on the LCD display if the weight exceeds the maximum weighing capacity
of 180kg/ 396 lb/ 28 st. Step off the scale immediately as you may otherwise cause damage.
•
"Lo": Low, appears on the LCD display if the battery is low. Replace the battery.
•
"Err": Error, appears on the LCD display when the scale is unable to measure the weight. Step off the
scale in this case, wait for a few seconds and then try again. Make sure you stand calmly and do not
interrupt the weighing process.
Never jump on the personal scale, as this may cause damage.
Cleaning
Only use neutral detergent and a soft cloth to clean the personal scale.
