Preparation
f Check that the contents are complete.
f Check all the parts for possible transport damage.

Caution! Damage due to incorrect power supply.
f Only operate the appliance with the voltage stated
on the nameplate.
Operation
1. Insert the mains plug into the socket.
The hairdryer has 3 heat settings and 2 fan settings that,
thanks to separate switches, enable a total of 6 tempera-
ture-fan settings. Occasionally, the cold shot button can
be used to fix the hairstyle.
2. Switch on the hairdryer at the on/off switch.
3. Select the desired fan setting.
Fan-setting switch:
I
Fan setting 1, for a gentle airflow
II
Fan setting 2, for a strong airflow
4. Select the required temperature setting.
Switch for temperature settings:
0
Temperature setting 0, for cold air
I
Temperature setting 1, for hot air
II
Temperature setting 2, for hotter air
Cold shot button:
By pressing and holding the cold button, the hairdryer
can be switched to cold air for short periods. To return to
the set temperature, simply release the cold-shot button.
5. Using the on/off switch, switch off the hairdryer after use.
Operation
Styling with the click nozzle
The click nozzle can be used to direct the airflow onto the styling
brush. The click nozzle can simply be turned when styling.
1. Position the click nozzle and press it towards the housing
(Fig.2ⓐ).
2. You can remove the click nozzle simply by pulling it off in the
direction of the arrow (Fig. 2ⓑ).
TOURMALINE coating
Negative ions have an antistatic effect and are gentle to the hair.
They close the scale layer, creating a smooth, silky hair surface.
They lock in the natural moisture of the hair, thereby creating the
ultimate shine.
Overheat protection
The hairdryer is fitted with an overheat protection facility. Should
the appliance overheat, the heating process is interrupted and only
cold air flows out. After the appliance has cooled down, the heat-
ing element will switch on again automatically.
Maintenance
Warning! Injuries and material damage due to incor-
rect handling.
f Switch off the hairdryer before cleaning it or per-
forming any maintenance. Disconnect the hairdryer
from the power supply.
f Allow the hairdryer to cool down completely.
Cleaning and care
Danger! Electric shock due to penetration of liquid.
f Never immerse the hairdryer in water!
f Do not allow any liquid to get inside the appliance.
Caution! Danger from aggressive chemicals.
Aggressive chemicals could damage the hairdryer and
accessories.
f Never use solvents or scouring agents.
f Only wipe the hairdryer with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
f To maintain the performance of your hairdryer, regularly clean
the air inlet with a soft dry brush.
Proceed as follows:
1. Twist the cover in an anti-clockwise direction (Fig. 3ⓐ) and
remove.
2. Clean the cover and air inlet with a soft brush (Fig. 4).
3. Replace the cover and twist it in a clockwise direction until it
clicks into position (Fig. 3ⓑ).
Problem elimination
Hairdryer only runs with cold air
Cause: The overheat protection is active.
f Allow the hairdryer to cool down.
f Clean the air inlet.
Hairdryer is not working
Cause: Defective power supply.
f Make sure that contact between the mains and the socket is
faultless. Check the mains cable for possible damage.
In the event that this information does not help you resolve your

the appliance yourself!
