in Italy. Riser pump is conceived to be the new must-have product in your marine tank especially due to its
controllability feature in combination with Rossmont Waver. As the first AC controllable return pump in the
World, Riser grants high performances with a low profile design and a quiet operation.
We ask you to read the following instructions and save them in a safe and dry place. Please remember that if
you lose this manual, you can always find a copy on our website at www.rossmont.com.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Before using this product, check the data label on the pump cover and verify that the operating
voltage corresponds to your Mains.
• The product is intended for internal use only and must be operated only when ensured the water fills
completely the rotor chamber or when the pump is fully submerged.
Its dry running can lead to deterioration of parts or to irreparable damages on the motor.
• It's possible to use the device in marine or freshwater at a temperature not exceeding 35 °C / 95 F.
Do not use the pump for the movement of other fluids, particularly if abrasive or corrosive, or for any
application other than aquarium.
Do not use the pump to mix salt in water and ensure there are no stone or coral particles suspended
prior to its operation.
• Unplug any electrical appliance connected to your Aquarium before putting your hands in water. It's
strongly recommended that socket or wall outlet is placed on a higher level than the tank to prevent
the risk of water damages to the electrical Mains. If this is not possible, verify the lowest part of the cable
to be lower than the socket: DRIP LOOP. In case the plug/socket got wet,immediately disconnect the
general switch.
• Do not lift the pump by the power cord. Plug/unplug the unit only by grasping the plug.
• It's necessary to power the product through a residual current circuit-breaker system with a rated
current not exceeding 30mA.
• Do not plug the device if the power cord or plug is frayed or damaged. In this case it's necessary to
replace the entire unit without trying to repair it.
