Installing Masonry Type 41/1A
Cutting Guard
Follow all instructions provided with the mason-
ry Type 41/1A cutting guard to install and use it
with this grinder.
Installing Dry Diamond Wheel
Follow all instructions provided with the ma-
sonry Type 41/1A cutting guard to prepare it
for installation of compatible accessories and
operation.
To install Dry Diamond Wheel (Fig. 20) see in-
structions on page 17.
Inserting and Releasing
Battery Pack
To insert the Battery Pack (Fig. 21, 4) slide it
into the housing until the Battery Pack (4) locks
into position.
Your tool is equipped with a secondary lock-
ing latch to prevent the Battery Pack (4) from
completely falling out of the handle, should it
become loose due to vibration.
To remove the Battery Pack (4), press the Bat-
tery Pack Release Button (5) and slide the Bat-
tery Pack (4) forward.
Press the Battery Pack Release Button (5) again
and slide the Battery Pack (4) completely out of
tool housing.
