h) Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning (e.g. a wire brush or a
metal spatula) because they may damage the surface material of the
appliance.
i) Do not clean the device with an acidic substance, agents of medical purposes,
thinners, fuel, oils or other chemical substances because it may damage the
device.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The display may show three messages to indicate the cause of the problem:
• E1: short circuit of the temperature sensor;
• E2: temperature higher than set;
• EI: sensor failure - replace.
Problem
The display is not
working.
The display works,
but the machine is
not running.
Temperature
unstable.
The temperature
difference between
the storage
temperature and the
set temperature is
too great.
The machine
continues to heat
even though the
desired temperature
has been reached.
Possible Cause
Short circuit or
malfunction of the
thermostat.
The set temperature is
too high or the
machine is overloaded
(overheated).
Sensor or cable failure.
Failure or incorrect
location of the sensor.
Sensor incorrectly
installed.
Remedy
Replace fuse or
thermostat.
Re-adjust the
temperature or find
the cause of the
overload.
Replace / repair.
Relocate the sensor
or replace it.
Install the sensor
correctly.
