3 Connect the pink connector (1) on the MECG adapter cable to the ECG connector (3) on the patient
module.
4 Then fix the patient module to the patient's belt using the fixing knob (4).
5 Connect the patient module to the appropriate ECG socket on your monitor, as described in the
monitor's Instructions for Use.
Cleaning and Disinfecting
Clean with lint free cloth, moistened with either warm water (40
non-caustic detergent or one of the approved cleaning agents listed below. You can immerse the M1364A
for cleaning and disinfection.
CAUTION Never immerse or soak the cables. Do not allow the cleaning agent to remain on the cable - remove it
immediately by wiping with a cloth dampened with water. Do not use strong solvents such as acetone or
trichloroethylene. Always dilute according to the manufacturer's instructions, or use lowest possible
concentration. Never use abrasive materials such as steel wool or silver polish.
We recommend that you disinfect the fetal monitoring equipment after cleaning, and only when necessary
as determined by your hospital's policy.
