• If the power cable and the iron cord are damaged, they must
be replaced by the manufacturer, one of its service centres or
a similarly qualified person in order to avoid any risks. Do not
use the appliance with damaged cables. Do not change the
plug on the power cable. Only use original Polti parts.
• Openings intended to be used for filling, descaling, rinsing or
inspection which are pressurised must not be opened during
use or while there is hot water in the boiler (only for irons
with pressurised containers).
• Appliances with a safety cap must never be filled while there
is still steam or water in the boiler or while it is pressurised.
• In order to carry out maintenance (descaling, rinsing,
inspection) on pressurised boilers with hot water inside,
unplug the appliance from the electrical socket for at least 2
hours, check that it is cold, and then remove the cap by
carefully unscrewing it. For maintenance which requires the
appliance to be plugged in, such as the Self-Cleaning
function, watch out for jets of steam and hot water and pay
attention to the temperature of the iron.
• Keep the appliance and the power cable out of the reach of
children under 8 years of age when the appliance is plugged
in or is cooling down.
• Keep all the parts of the packaging out of the reach of
children; they are not toys. Keep the plastic bag out of the
reach of children: danger of suffocation.
Pursuant to European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment
(WEEE), do not dispose of the machine in household waste. Take it to an official recycling
centre, in compliance with local provisions/regulations. This appliance complies with EU
