READ ALL SAFETY AND WARNING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY before attempting to install, operate or service your auto-
darkening welding helmet. Consult with a qualified instructor or supervisor if you have questions. Your failure to comply
with the instructions could result in personal injury and/or property damage. The welding helmet must only be used with
the following equipment: auto-darkening filter, cover plate and headgear
Arc welding without protection is dangerous. Auto-darkening welding filters provide reliable protection against UV/IR emissions, heat, sparks and
spatters in both the light and dark state. The protection shade of the filter is designed to protect the eyes from the bright light of the welding arc.
Auto-darkening filters must always be used with welding helmets. Welding helmets equipped with auto-darkening filters are easy to use. There is no
need to lift and lower the welding helmet during welding. When striking an arc, the auto-darkening filter automatically darkens. With the disappearance
of the arc, it returns to the original light state. The following advantages result from this hands-free use, UV/IR protection for eyes and skin, no blinding
light interference, faster and more efficient welding, higher quality, and less fatigue.
