A. After each use, clean the clamps of the battery charger, make sure to remove all the battery fluid that may

charger or put it in running water.

9. FAILURE DIAGNOSTICS

Often, what at first seems to be a defect can be solved by yourself without the need of a SCHULZ AUTHORIZED
DEALER. However, if the problem remains after the corrective actions described below, contact the nearest
SCHULZ AUTHORIZED DEALER (see list of the national SAC SCHULZ network accompanying the product).
In some cases, the time to charge a battery can be fast, but the battery may not be able to operate as expected.
In this case, the battery may have lost the capacity to absorb charge and must be replaced.
Note:
1. The charging current shown is lower than the charging rate selected when the battery is almost charged.
Then the charge goes to the second and third stages.
2. If the battery that is being charged is in short circuit, the FAULT indicator LED will turn on. Using a voltmeter,
check the voltage of the battery and, if it below 12 Volts, the battery cannot be recharged anymore and must
be replaced.
3. If the battery is not charging, make sure the charger is connected is properly connected to the AC power
supply.
