If you do not find the network you are looking for in the list,
we would recommend moving the WiFi antenna to another
suitable position, checking the direction of the white Kuma
antenna and clicking rescan (at the bottom), to scan again.
Once you have selected the network of your choice you will be
required to fill in some information to connect. If the encryption
says no encryption you can move on to the next step.
If the WiFi network you wish to connect to has a password
protecting it the encryption option will have a WPA or WPA2
options - you do not need to change
You will need to put in the password for the site or hotspot
into the Hotspot password
Once you have put in the password into the box move on to
the next step.
The next section below is for you to put in a custom
password of your choice into the router which will be unique
to your Kuma Kit. This password must be 8 or more
characters long, please use a password you wont forget.
Once this has been done please click finish and move on to
the next step. You will need this password to re-connect your
devices after set-up is complete and in the future. (The same
as you would do at home/office etc).

When you click finish on your screen there will be displayed
'waiting for changes to be applied'.
Your router's lights will go off and on again during the reset
process. Don't worry if your browsers/devices say "no
connection" etc. For example – see below.
Please wait for approximately 3 minutes before continuing
with the setup.
After waiting 3 minutes check your USB light remains solid
then reconnect your device to the USBWIFIRPT-3000A in the
WiFi settings. When you attempt to connect to the
USBWIFIRPT3000-A it will ask you for the password that you
set during the setup above - put the password in to connect
back to the router - (USBWIFIRPT3000-A).
Once you have connected again, you will need to log back
onto the 192.168.45.1 page to check you have any internet
connection. User name = admin Password = admin
Once logged in, on the top
right of the screen you will
see 'Internet Status' - if this is
a green 'Connect' you have
completed the setup and you
can use the internet. If this is a red 'Disconnect' then we
would recommend going back through the setup to try again
or referring to our FAQ on are website.
