Loosen the bevel-adjustment knob.
d. Tighten the bevel-adjustment knob (O) securely
(Fig. 12b).

approximate line of cut. Make sample cuts in
scrap material to verify the actual line of cut.
f.
Rotate the base until you reach the desired
angle setting on the bevel-angle scale (M)
(Fig. 12b).
g. Start the saw.

the wheel into the workpiece.

When the cut is made, release the trigger
switch. Wait for the cut-off wheel to come to a
complete stop before removing the saw from
the workpiece.
13. Rip Cutting with a Rip Board Guide
When rip cutting a large sheet, use a rip board
guide (not included). A straight piece of plywood
with maximum thickness of 1/2" (12mm) can serve
as a rip board guide.

b. Position the rip board guide in such a way that
the cut indicator (N) is aligned with the line of
cut (Fig. 13).
c.
Use C-clamps (not included) to clamp the
rip board guide to the workpiece. Make sure
that the clamps do not interfere with the free
movement of the saw.
d. Adjust and secure the saw at desired bevel
angle.
e. Align the right edge of the base against the rip board guide (Fig. 13).
f.
Rest the front edge of the base on the workpiece.
g. Start the saw.
