Operating status display
There is a operation status display (LED)
on the appliance. The following displays
are possible:
Control lamp glows
green.
Indicator lamp is
blinking orange.
Indicator lamp
glows red
Transport
Danger
Risk of injury and damage! Observe the
weight of the appliance when you transport it.
Hold the unit at the lower end of the
handle when you transport is over a
longer distance.
When transporting in vehicles, secure
the appliance according to the guide-
lines from slipping and tipping over.
Storage
Danger
Risk of injury and damage! Note the weight
of the appliance in case of storage.
Maintenance and care
Caution
Remove the battery prior to any care and
maintenance work.
Cleaning the device
Wipe the appliance using a damp cloth.
Do not use any aggressive agents,
such as cleaning powder.
Change/ clean the roller brush
see Figure 9
To remove the brush roller, place the
device in an upright position (see Chap-
ter "Storing the appliance").
Press the unlocking button and remove
the brush roller.
Operation
Charging or replac-
ing battery
Brush is blocked
(see faults)
Wrapped up leaves, grass, small
branches, hair or strings are best loos-
ened using a knife or scissors and then
removed.
Insert the cleaned or new brush roller
and check the proper position.
The warranty terms published by the rele-
vant sales company are applicable in each
country. We will repair potential failures of
your appliance within the warranty period
free of charge, provided that such failure is
caused by faulty material or defects in man-
ufacturing. In the event of a warranty claim
please contact your dealer or the nearest
authorized Customer Service centre.

Troubleshooting
Charger display does not glow
Check connection from charger to bat-
tery
No battery connected.
Check power supply of the socket.
Charging mode display flashes red
Fault. Disconnect charging device and
battery, and reconnect.
Call Customer Service.
The charge indicator lights in red
Temperature fault, charging was inter-
rupted. Accumulator and charger must
be in the specified ambient tempera-
ture.
Appliance does not clean properly
Clean or replace the brush rollers (refer
chapter "Replace/ clean brush roller").
Charge the battery (refer chapter
"Carging the battery).
The operating state indicator light in
Turn off the appliance.
Remove battery
Check if foreign matters block the
brushes; remove foreign matter if re-
quired.
