USE AND CARE
- Do not move or shift the appliance while it is
operating.
- Do not touch any hot surface on the pressu-
re cooker. Always use the grip or handles. If
necessary, use gloves. Place the pressure
cooker down carefully and slowly, try not to
knock, shake or drop it.
- Use the grip to pick it up or move it.
- Do not use the appliance at an angle or turn it
over.
- Do not use the appliance without water. Lack of
water can cause serious damage to the pres-
sure cooker, always ensure that liquids never
fully evaporate.
- Do not use the appliance for frying food.
- Respect the MAX and MIN levels.
- PRECAUTION: Boiling liquids could overflow
from the receptacle if it is over filled.
- This appliance is for household use only, not
professional or industrial use.
- Do not put the appliance away if it is still hot.
- Do not open the lid while the liquid contained
inside the recipient is boiling.
- Do not use force to open the pressure cooker.
Before opening the pressure cooker, make sure
any internal pressure has fully dissipated.
- Use only original replacement parts suitable for
the model in question. It is especially crucial
that the lid and the body are made by the same
manufacturer and that they are compatible.
- Only use the heat sources stated in this user
manual.
- When cooking meat with skin (e.g., ox tongue),
which may swell up under pressure, do not
puncture the skin while it is swollen, as this
could lead to scalding.
CAUTIONS
- The pressure cooker generates internal
pressure and the liquids inside it have a
boiling point below 120°C. After boiling, a
large amount of steam and liquid will be
generated, especially when reducing the
pressure rapidly.
- Water condensation may appear on the surfa-
ces and objects around this appliance.
- To avoid blocking the air outlet pipe, do not
use the appliance to cook apple jam, corn,
legumes, seaweeds, oat flakes or other foods
that expand.
- Do not boil soda directly. Do not use oil or wine
in excessive quantities.
- Do not use the pressure cooker to roast or fry
food with the lid closed.
- Do not open the lid while the pressure cooker
is still under pressure. Before use, make sure
that the pressure cooker is properly closed in
order to heat it.
- It is not advisable to leave salty, sugary or vine-
gary liquids or water in the pressure cooker for
prolonged periods. Wash and dry the pressure
cooker after each use.
SERVICE
- It is advisable to replace the seal ring once a
year.
- Misuse or failure to follow the instructions may
be dangerous and renders the manufacturer's
warranty null and void.
FILLING QUANTITY: (FIG2)
- The filling quantity for foods that do not expand,
such as meat or vegetables, should not exceed
2/3 the volume of the pot
- For foods that do expand, such as rice or legu-
mes, do not exceed 1/3 the volume of the pot.
