Congratulations and thank you for choosing the Time Savers Herb Chopper from
Tupperware. This fantastic new Time Savers solution chops herbs in no time.
Versatile, quick and easy to use, it chops herbs such as parsley, basil or coriander,
as well as onions, garlic, apple and also bread or small quantities of ham. Thanks
to the 3 blades and the speed of the cord mechanism, it chops in no time and in
very tiny pieces without any effort. Tupperware adds flavour to your life!
How to assemble and to operate
1. Carefully place the blade holder (2) with the larger part up, on the centre pole of
the base (3).
!! WARNING: Avoid touching the blades as they are extremely sharp.
2. Cut ingredients in chunks and place them in the base. To ensure best
performance, fill to a maximum of one-fourth of the base's capacity.
3. Always dry herbs well and remove any stalks ensuring you keep only the edible
parts for cutting.
4. Place the cover (1) on the base by screwing the bayonet
clockwise until you feel the cover is locked on the base.
5. Place the Herb Chopper on the countertop. Hold the Herb
Chopper firmly by placing one hand on the cover and with the
other hand pull the cord in fast movements. As the Herb
Chopper has an anti-slip base (4), it will not slide around while
you are pulling the cord. After 2 or 3 pulls, take the Herb Chopper
in both hands and shake it to regroup ingredients, place it back on
the countertop and continue pulling until you have reached the desired size.
6. Take the cover off by turning it counterclockwise and remove the blades carefully
before scraping out the food.
Use and care
For cleaning, separate the top of the cover (5) from the bottom of the cover (6) by
placing a tea spoon in the slot (7) in the rim of the cover.
!! WARNING: Clean the blades with caution as they are very sharp..
In order not to harm yourself, wash the blades separately by hand under running
water. The top of the cover needs to be cleaned by hand with a wet cloth in order to
keep the mechanism functioning properly.
The other parts of the Herb Chopper can be placed into the dishwasher.
Let the top of the cover dry completely before reassembling it with the bottom of
the cover. Once cleaned, put the cover back together by aligning the slot on the
top and bottom of the cover. The slot is marked by 2 indentations; apply pressure
all around the cover with your hands until you hear a click.
The Herb Chopper was not developed for crushing and chopping very hard items
such as ice as this would damage the blades and the mechanism, but for soft and
semi-soft ingredients where the high speed is necessary to cut properly.
Keep the Herb Chopper out of reach of children.
