Adjustment of electronic thermostatic mixer. (motor alignment)
Shower Panel and Shower Temple with comfort controls I and II
Hansgrohe has set the electronic thermostat at 38 degrees Centigrade.
(water pressure 3 bar, Dt 50 degrees Centigrade).
Check the following points before adjusting the electronic thermostat to correspond with local specifications:
Warning:
Before adjusting thermostat check the following points:
- identify the control system on the Shower Temple / Shower Panel.
useful hint:
Turn on the lighting; if the temperature display lights up, the Shower Temple / Shower
Panel is operated by the control system II, if only the halogen lights come on it is
comfort control system I.
- Power supply 230 V / 50 Hz (control the fuses).
- Check that the hot water heater is on.
- All showers must be turned off.
- The hand shower is being turned on automatically.
Adjustment of comfort control system I:
1. Push the savety key
display flashes.
2. Using the "+" and "-" keys set display at 1.1C.
3. Push light key
4. Use "+" or " - " key to set display to 38.0°C ±0.2°C . To do so, press the "+" oder " - "
button three or four times in qiuck succession. The procedure needs to be repeat several times to
get as close to 38.0°C as possible.
Press the
key when the display remains constant, showing 38.0°C ±0.2°C.
5. Using the "+" key set display at 1.2 C.
6. Push light key
7. Use "+" or " - " key to set 38.0°C ±0.2°C. Press
8. Push Safety key
Adjustment of comfort control system II:
1. Push the savety key
display flashes.
2. Using the "+" and "-" keys set display at 1.1C.
3. Push light key
4. The semi-automatic motor alignment is now activated.
The alignment takes about 3 minutes. During this time the respective temperatures are
displayed. On completion 1.1C wil again be shown in the display.
Flashing displays showing 11.1C; 21.1C and 31.1C are error messages which make it
necessary to repeat the procedure from point 3.
This malfunktion could have several reasons; fluctuating cold and hot water supply to the
thermostat, or shifting water pressures during the adjusting process.
5. Push Safety key
Typing error:
Should you make an error during programming, press the Safety key twice to cancel all
settings. Then re-start from the beginning.
