14. The torch nozzle will become extremely hot during and after operation. Please, protect yourself from
accidental burns.
15. Pease make sure the fire is off before refilling.
16. In case of leakage of your appliance (gas smell) immediately bring it outside, in a very ventilated local,
without sources of flames, where the leakage can be found and stopped. If you want to check the
leakage of your device, do it outside. Do not seek the leakage with a match, but use water and soap
(revelgas cod. 1726).
17. Storing the appliance in well ventilated area and ensure the flame is over after the operation.
18. Use only Kemper original spare parts.
• Fill only with butane gas (our item 10051). It may be hazardous to attempt to fit other types of gas.
• Refill in a well-ventilated area, away from flame, combustible materials and
other person.
• Please make sure the fire is off before Refilling.
• Placing the pocket torch in an upside down position, Insert the gas canister
into the torch refilling valve
• Fill slowly. Do not overfill. When gas start to flow out, stop filling.
• After filling, wipe lighter and hands dry before igniting.
• The refilling operation takes some minutes to allow the gas to stabilize.
• For next refilling, let the torch cool down for 5 minutes before filling the tank.
1. Select the desired flame turning the gas adjustment dial between – and +.
2. Push right the safety lever placed under the button (1).
3. Press the ignition trigger.
4. Release the button to turn off the appliance; to use a continuous flame set
the lever (2) to right, to torn off push the lever to left.
Residual risks according to Regulation (EU) 2016/426 (annex 1, point 1.2)
After the installation of the appliance, there are some residual risks that have to be considered:
Although the appliance is designed with all the possible safety requirements, in case of external fire
there is the possibility that the internal pressure and temperature of the appliance and of the cylinder
will increase in a dangerous and uncontrollable way. Use suitable extinguishing tools only if it is safe,
otherwise get away and inform promptly the competent authorities. The use of incorrect cartridges and
/ or cartridges filled with gas other than the one indicated can produce high values of carbon monoxide,
dangerous for health.
This appliance can produce carbon monoxide. Inhalation of carbon monoxide, odourless and clear gas,
can cause flu-like symptoms, sickness illness and possibily death if produced inside aforesaid areas
throught use of the product without proper ventilation. The surface of the appliance is subject to residual
heat after use and remains very hot for a long time. Do not touch or handle with gloves only! Risk of
burns.
The appliance does not have a flame supervision device. Do not leave the appliance unattended during
use. RISK OF FIRE. Place the appliance on a stable surface, possibly flat, the uncorrect positioning could
lead to instability of the article.
