around the valve and make sure the valve is clean and dry.
Use the pump to deflate any remaining air from the board. Then proceed as follows:
1. Screw the screw cap on the end of the hose clockwise onto the screw connection IN on the head of the pump.
2. Screw the hose with the cap onto the valve by screwing it tightly on clockwise.
3. Deflate air from the chamber by moving the pump handle up and down. Keep pumping until the board is fully
deflated.
4. Remove the hose from the valve by unscrewing the valve cap counter clockwise.
5. Replace the valve cap by screwing it onto the valve in a clockwise direction.

its bottom side up on a dry, even surface, or stand the board upright to store it.
1. Lay the inflated board with its bottom side up on a dry and even surface.
2. Slide the middle fin into the fin bracket so that the tip of the middle fin points in the same direction as the outer fins
(see Fig. F).
3. Slide the safety pin through the openings in the fin bracket and the middle fin (see Fig. G).
4. To remove the middle fin, repeat the above steps in the reverse direction.

To deflate the board, carry out the steps for inflating in the reverse order. Clean the area
1. Loosen the cap on the valve by unscrewing it counter clockwise.
2. Slightly press the valve pin into the valve (see Fig. E). This allows air
to slowly escape from the board.
3. Keep the valve pin pressed slightly in until the pressure has reduced
as desired. The further the pin is pressed into the board, the faster the air
will escape.
4. Release the valve pin once you have reached desired pressure. The
valve recloses automatically when you release the pin. If you wish to
deflate all the air from the board, fully press the valve pin into the board
with a slight turn. When you release the pin, the valve is open and the air
will escape continuously.

improper storage. The board should not rest on the fins in storage. Either lay the board with
