PRELIMINARY INFORMATION
The CP.RT control unit controls both directions of passage through the gate.
Consider the turnstile seen from above:
In Figure 13, the pedestrian moves in the direction indicated, the turnstile must rotate CLOCKWISE to allow it to pass, this rotation direction is controlled
by magnet A and its inputs.
In Figure 14, the pedestrian moves in the direction indicated, the turnstile must rotate ANTI-CLOCKWISE to allow it to pass, this rotation direction is
controlled by magnet A and its inputs.
It is possible to connect a traffic light that indicates the possibility of passage of the gate.
The turnstiles can have 3 or 4 arms:
- For a 3-arm turnstile, set a 120° rotation in menu 5
- For a 4-arm turnstile, set a 90° rotation in menu 5
PROGRAMMING
When power is supplied to the control unit, the manufacturer's name, firmware version and "PUSH TO SETUP" message appear on the LCD display.
The first menu displayed is the turnstile type configuration menu 5 only the first time the power is turned on.
By pressing the Joystick button you can access the following menus:
1 PUSH TO SET C
Check that the turnstile is in a stop position, then press the Joystick to assign the "zero" position to the encoder.
Sets the pass timeout value. When the set time has elapsed, the magnet is de-energized, inhibiting the passage.
2 TOUT CrdRd
The minimum value is 1 second, the maximum value is 25, the default value is 6 seconds.
3 Light
Not used
Sets the operating logic of the traffic light associated with the A/B outputs.
RED: Traffic lights are always red, when one direction is enabled its light switches to green.
4 C.R.T Light
GRN: Traffic lights are always green, when one direction is enabled the opposite light switches to green.
The default value is RED
Set the type of turnstile/tripod.
120 dg should be used with 3-arm turnstiles.
5 Mec. Type
90 dg should be used with 4-arm turnstiles.
Select the type of turnstile used.
6 Poweroff
Sets the operation of the turnstile in the event of power failure

Terminal Input for connecting the buffer batteries (accessory)
Description
24V connection output for direction A magnet.
Powering magnet A allows the turnstile to turn CLOCKWISE (top view).
24V connection output for direction B magnet.
Powering magnet B allows the turnstile to turn ANTI-CLOCKWISE (top view).
24V LED traffic light control.
24V LED traffic light control.
24V power supply input from the board, respect polarities
Quick connector input for Motor Encoder connection
4-pole terminal for controlling output A:
START: NO contact to enable the output A magnet, closing the contact gives consent to a
rotation in direction A. An NO button can be used, the NO contact of a card reader, or a digital
push-button panel, etc.
STOP: NO contact for the lock button, closing the contact locks the rotation in direction A,
preventing any passing until it is released.
FREE Pass: NO contact for release button, closing the contact frees the rotation in direction
A.
COM (GND): Common for the control inputs
Same functions as MODE Input A but referring to output B
Allows you to navigate through the programming menus and set the operating values.
