short circuits.
ऀ Always store the accumulator in a dry, frost-free and well-ventilated place. Do not
store in locations where sparking is possible.
General Disposal Instructions for Batteries/Accumulators
As the end user, you are legally obligated to return used batteries/
accumulators. You can return used batteries, which we sell as new batteries
or use to sell, free of charge to the warehouse of VOSS GmbH & Co. KG or
to a recycling centre near you.
In connection with the sale of batteries, we are obliged to inform you of

The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meaning:
The symbol of the crossed-out garbage bin means that the battery must not be
disposed of in household waste.
Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004% mass of lead.
Cd = battery contains more than 0.002% mass of cadmium.
Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005% mass of mercury.
Recyclable materials such as zinc, iron, aluminum, lithium and silver can be found in
batteries and accumulators. Furthermore, ingredients such as mercury, cadmium and
lead can be contained. These are toxic and endanger the environment if disposed of
improperly. Heavy metals can have harmful effects on humans, animals and plants and
accumulate in the environment.
Separate collection and proper disposal of your waste equipment and spent batteries/
accumulators will help conserve natural resources and ensure recycling that protects
human health and the environment. For information on where to find collection points
for your waste equipment or spent batteries/accumulators, please contact your city or
municipal administration, the local waste disposal companies or VOSS GmbH & Co. KG.
