4. ADD DEVICE
4.1 Scan QR code (Recommended)
WARNING: This surveillance camera only supports a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. It does not support a 5GHz Wi-Fi
network. Before configuring the Wi-Fi, please check or split the 2 wireless networks from the router parameter
settings. The Wi-Fi password should not contain special characters such as ~!@#$%^&*(). When configuring
the Wi-Fi, make sure your router, mobile phone and surveillance camera are as close as possible to each other
for a quick and successful configuration.
Connect the smartphone to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. Activate the location in your phone if not already
activated.
● The app supports QR code net-pairing and Wi-Fi connection. You can choose to add the device by other
options.
● Power on the surveillance camera, and you can hear the confirmation "Wait for WiFiconfig", (if you heard
nothing at all, please click and hold the "reset" button for about 20 seconds to restore the factory settings).
● With the mobile phone connected to the Wi-Fi network, click "Add Device" or "+" icon on the Home screen of
the app, select "Security & Sensor"(figure 2)→ "Smart Surveillance camera", click "next step".
Check the name of your WiFi 2.4 GHz Network, enter WiFi password and click "Confirm".
