• This machine is intended for outdoor
private use.
• Compliance with the instructions for use
is a prerequisite for the proper use of the
machine. Instructions for use also con-
tain operating, maintenance and repair
instructions.
User is liable for all damage as a result of
improper use.
The machine comes standard with 2
brushes.
Do not use the metal brush on soft stone
types or tiles with an imprint, the metal
brush may damage it. Always test a small,
inconspicuous part first to check whether or
not the metal brush damages the material
to be worked on.
7. Installation
Replacement of weed brush
7.1
(See Fig. A + B).
PLEASE NOTE: The metal-brush is
sharp!
Always wear proper work gloves
when mounting and removing the
metal brush.
a. Press the locking button (See Fig. B).
b. Remove the worn-out brush from the
machine.
c.
Place the new brush (10) on the shaft.
8. Handling
Telescopic rod adjustment
8.1
(See Fig. A).
Telescopic rod (9) can be adjusted in length
to create a comfortable working length.
a. Unscrew the locking button (8).
b. Slide the tube in or out until the desired
length has been reached.
c.
Tighten the locking button again.
d. Make sure the tube is properly fixed
before you resume work.
9. Operation
• Make sure the power mains voltage
corresponds to the operating voltage
stated on the type label.
• Use only suitable extension cords for out-
door use. Preferably use extension cords

with a cable H07 RN-F; 3×1.5 mm
doubt, refer to a professional.
• We recommend using a residual current
circuit breaker with a nominal residual
current of ≤ 30 mA.
a. Secure the extension cord one the
strain relief hook (4) by forming a loop
(See Fig. C).
b. Hold the machine firmly.

To switch on the device press the safety
button (1) first and then press the ON/
OFF trigger (2). Release the safety
button.
d. To switch the machine off, release the
on/off switch.
10. Use
Do not use the metal brush on soft stone

• Let the machine do the work. Do not
force the machine.
• Hold the machine with both hands.
• Use the machine in a quiet, steady pace.
• Use the machine exclusively for dry
weeds.
• Keep the machine away from plants.
• Tackle first the long joints and then the
short ones.
11. Cleaning and maintenance
Cleaning
11.1
• Always pull the power plug before under-
taken maintenance work on the device.
• If lumps of earth or plants are stuck in
the brush roller while working, first turn
off the device. Start the motor only for a
moment. The blockage will be cleared by
the movement of the brush roller.
• Should it be necessary to loosen the dirt
by hand, first disconnect the power cord
for your safety.
• Use a stiff brush and a dry cloth to clean
the device; do not use aggressive chemi-
cals or abrasives for cleaning.
• Do not allow liquids of any kind to enter
the device.
