Owner and/or Operator Responsibility
The owner and/or operator shall study the product instructions and retain them for future
reference.
Operation
The owner and/or operator shall have an understanding of the product, its operating
characteristics, and safety operating instructions before operating the PALD. Safety
information shall be emphasized and understood. If the operator is not fluent in English,
the product and safety instructions shall be read to and discussed with the operator in the
operator's native language by the purchaser/owner or his designee, making sure that the
operator comprehends their contents.
Maintenance
The PALD shall be maintained in accordance with the product instruction.
1. When jack is not in use, lifting arm should be in full down position.
2. Always keep jack clean and keep the screw and bearings well lubricated.
3. Keep moving parts clean; lubricate moving parts every 3 months.
Inspection
(a) Visual inspection shall be made before each use of the PALD by checking for abnormal
conditions, such as cracked welds, leaks, and damaged, loose, or missing parts.
(b) Other inspections shall be made per product operating instructions.
(c) Each PALD shall be inspected immediately if the device is believed to have been subject
ed to an abnormal load or shock. It is recommended that this inspection be made by a
manufacturer's or supplier's authorized repair facility.
(d) Owners and/or operators should be aware that repair of this equipment may require
specialized knowledge and facilities. It is recommended that an annual inspection of the
PALD be made by a manufacturer's or supplier's authorized repair facility and that any
defective parts, decals, or safety labels or signs be replaced with manufacturer's or
supplier's specified parts. A list of authorized repair facilities is available from the manufac
turer or supplier.
Damaged Equipment
Any PALD that appears to be damaged in any way, is found to be worn or operates
abnormally SHALL BE REMOVED FROM SERVICE UNTIL REPAIRED. It is recommended that
necessary repairs be made by a manufacturer's or supplier's authorized repair facility if
repairs are permitted by the manufacturer or supplier.
Alterations
Because of potential hazards associated with this type of equipment, no alterations shall be
made to the product.
Attachments and Adaptors
Only attachments and/or adaptors supplied by the manufacturer shall be used.

(a) Study, understand, and follow all instructions before operating this device.
(b) Do not exceed rated capacity.
(c) Use only on hard level surface.
(d) Lock mounting plate rotating mechanism before applying a load.

(e) Assure load is centered and secured to mounting attachment.
(f) Failure to heed these markings may result in personal injury and/or property damage.
Safety Messages
(a) O -center loads may make the load and handle rotate in either direction when the
rotational locking device is released.
(b) Release rotational locking devices slowly and carefully.
(c) No alterations shall be made to this product.
(d) Only attachments and/or adapters supplied by the manufacturer shall be used.

1. Attach Main Post (1) and Front Leg (20) to Side Leg (3) with the 1/2" X 3" Lg. Bolt (4) up
from the bottom. Bolt (4) will thread into the 1/2" Washer (17)., 1/2" Lock Washer (11), and
1/2" Hex Nut (18).
2. Attach Caster Side Leg (21) to Front Leg (20) with 3/8" X 2-3/4" Lg. Bolt (24), 3/8" Lock
Washer (25), 3/8" Washer (26)
and 3/8" Hex Nuts (15).
3. Slide Head Assembly (5) into Collar at top of Main Post (1), align holes and secure with Lock
Pin (6).
4. Attach four Mounting Arms (7) to Head Assembly with four 9/16" X 2-1/2" Lg. Bolts (8)
and four Hex Nuts (10)
as shown. Mounting Arms can be adjusted to fit a majority of
engines.

Rear Wheel position for the Motorhead Engine Standis
to back of stand. (See drawing at right)
