CASTORS
The choice of castors depends upon the type of flooring the chair will be used on - for hard floors (such as
stone, wood, laminate, linoleium etc) select a soft castor. On soft flooring (carpet etc) select a hard castor.
WARRANTY
Please be aware that the product should be used as an office work chair only: any other use can be
dangerous for your own safety. The standard task chair is tested to EN 1335-1,2 (normal 8 hour day
by persons weighing up to 110 Kgs). For replacement of your chair's adjustable gas lift, only qualified
persons (Steelcase staff and dealer engineers) can service the product. Fabrics/Warranty : for any basic
advice for taking care of your chair and information concerning general warranties, please check on the
website or the Steelcase dealer where you purchased your chair.
USER INTERFACE
Seat Depth – To extend seat
depth, remain seated and turn
knob away from you.
To retract, remain seated and
turn knob toward you.
Back tension – Allows you to
adjust the force required to sit
upright or recline. Turn the knob
forward for more resistance and
backward for less resistance.
LIMB INTERFACE
360 Arm – A single release
enables 360 degrees of motion,
giving arm support wherever
needed.

sagittal, lateral, and torsional
movement while maintaining

SEAT INTERFACE
– Designed with
soft edges, comfort is extended
to the edge of the seat.
Seat height – To raise chair, lift
your body weight and hold lever
up. To lower chair, remain seated
and hold lever up.

This dial is located inset of the
back tension knob. It allows four
settings, upright lock, full recline,
and two stops in between.
