Preparing the pump
At the time of delivery, the pump is only partially assembled.
Only hand-tighten all screw connections. Excessive tightening of the screw connections
damages seals and plastic components. Do not use any tools!
1. Place the large O-ring seal
connection
of the pump.
3
2. Guide the threaded ring
the line connection.
3. Turn the threaded ring clockwise until it is
hand-tight.
4. Insert the prefilter
5. Place the prefilter cover
housing.
Pay attention to the positioning of the
recesses on the prefilter cover and pump
housing.
6. Place the auxiliary tool
the prefilter cover.
7. Use the auxiliary tool to turn the prefilter cover clockwise until firmly in place.
The pump is ready for operation. You can now connect it to the lines.
Fitting the line connections
To fit the line connections to the pump or valve head, proceed as follows:
1. Place an O-ring seal in the notch of the line
connection.
2. Guide the threaded ring over the line
connection.
3. Turn the threaded ring clockwise until it is
hand-tight.
The line connections are fitted.
Connecting the lines
Prepare the following material (not contained in the package contents):
- Pressure line
- Suction line
- Assembly materials for the lines
To connect the lines to the pump and filter vessel as shown in illustration A at the start of this manual,
proceed as follows:
1. Lay the suction line from the pool to the pump.
Keep the suction line as short as possible. Longer lines reduce the pump output.
2. Lay the pressure line from the pump to the filter vessel.
The lines are connected.
Bleeding the pump
1. Establish the water flow to the pump. If necessary, open the shut-off valve or remove the plug in
the suction line.
